Quick Beef Burrito Salad Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef grass fed
  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 1/2 red pepper diced
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp chili pepper powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp salsa/hot sauce
  • 1 avocado diced

Instructions
 

  • Heat a skillet on medium high heat. Add the bacon pieces and cook for 5 min. Add the ground beef and cook for 5 min, stirring and breaking up the meat until browned. Remove the meat from the pan. Add the spices and cook another few minutes. Add the onion and peppers and saute for 5 min until veggies soften. Add the garlic, stir and cook one minute. Add meat back into pan, stirring ingredients together. Taste and add salt, pepper to taste. Serve over firm salad greens with favorite toppings: sour cream, guac, cheese, hot sauce.
